lichen crust, reindeer moss frozen. indigenous ground, boot prints fill with meltwater. someone gutted a rabbit here. blood already black on the snow.
one indigenous song snagged in barbed wire– rust blooming orange. kora strings–griots teaching sand what won't be forgotten.
